5 months old and sick

Today our sweet baby Lilly is 5 months old! Poor thing is spending her 5 month birthday with a cold :-( She is very congested and has a cough....I feel so bad for her. So today we are going to be doing a lot of cuddling, sleeping, and sucking snot with the nose sucker!! Good thing she doesn't mind the nose sucker...she thinks its kind of funny actually. Okay..we are going to get ready for our day. Hope yours is great!

Lilly on Valentine's Day!

I had a great, relaxing Valentine's Day yesterday. In the morning Kyle made me breakfast and gave me lots of chocolate and a funny card. I went to see the new Shopaholic movie with Cassie, which was pretty good. Then yesterday evening me and Kyle rented Nick and Norah's Infinate Playlist (I think thats what it is called) and ordered yummy pizza! It was a very nice day! I really wanted to go to The Melting Pot and Kyle tried to make reservations 2 weeks ago and the only one he could get was at 10:45 pm!!! We said no way...too late. Maybe we will go there soon!!

So Lilly has been SO active lately! She is constantly moving, kicking, and rolling over! As soon as I lay her on her back, she immediately rolls over onto her stomach! A couple of mornings ago, I went in to get her from her crib. She was on her tummy, propped up on her elbows looking around! And...she was facing her crib bars and kicking her monitor!! Soooo funny... I also put her down for a nap yesterday and when I went to get her, her head was in the opposite direction than it was when I put her down! I have a feeling she will be crawling in no time. We are also getting ready to buy an activity jumper for Lilly. She will love it!!

Lilly has learned to roll over! She can roll from her back on to her front. It is SO cute to watch her. She tried so so hard last week and eventually just rolled right on over! And she has been doing it ever since then! In other news...I have been sick....blah. Last week, I had a fever and now I think it is just a bad cold. I can't stop sneezing and I am pretty congested. I hope and pray that Lilly does not get sick. Enjoy the pictures!

4 months old tomorrow!

Lilly will be 4 months old tomorrow! Time sure has gone by way too fast! We went to the dr. today and here are Lilly's stats: weight-13 lbs, 10 oz, length-24 1/4 in. , and head-15 1/2. She is pretty much in the 50th percentile for everything, which means she is perfect! (At least we think so :-) ) Lilly had to get her shots today...very sad for her AND for me! She has been so sleepy today. She came home and slept for 2 1/2 hours straight...which is not like her at all!! And she is napping again. I have taken advantage of her napping so much by cleaning!!! Our house was a mess! I really wish I could hire a maid just to clean my bathroom....I absolutely can't stand cleaning the bathroom!! Yuck, yuck, yuck!!

I am cooking again tonight. I decided to make steak, potatoes and a veggie. Hopefully it will be good! Have a great weekend!

Oops...forgot to mention this. My mom is a photographer and just recently opened her own business called Mar-k-z Photography. She is really good and is in the process of building her own studio. Right now, she is taking lots of weddings, senior pictures, and family pictures. She is in the Logansport area, but travels all around. She has been going to lots of bridal shows to get her name out and I thought I would mention it on here as well! Let me know if you would like some info!!

Today I woke up to snow! I can't believe there were only a few delays this morning for school. I'm really hoping that HSE lets out early so that my sale is canceled today. I can't imagine standing outside unloading the Market Day truck in this weather! I will keep my fingers crossed! Lilly has been so talkative the last few days. Mostly she is blowing tons of raspberries and laughing when she is done. It is so cute! She thinks it is hilarious to blow bubbles. And she thinks it is even more funny when I do it!

I've decided to be a real cook today and make a pot roast in the crock pot for dinner! I am pretty excited about this because I am not a good cook. The only time I have made a pot roast is when I buy the freezer bag of pot roast and just stick it all in the crock pot! I have a really hard time coming up with ideas for dinner. Because of this, we eat out a lot and when I cook it is all the same things: tacos, spaghetti, hamburgers, and chicken on the george foreman grill. If anyone has any super EASY dinner ideas...please send them my way. Thanks!!

It has been another month since I have posted! I think one of my new year's resolutions will be to keep up with my blog better! It will be easier because I have a new camera cord now! Luckily my mom used to have the same camera I have now, and she still had the camera cord. So I will finally post some pictures of Lilly!

Lilly is getting so big! She is 3 1/2 months old, weighs around 13 pounds, and is very long! She is now sleeping in her crib and taking 3 naps a day...even though she is a huge cat-napper! Lilly is very strong. She has been holding her head up for the last month and is constantly trying to push with her legs to stand up or pull herself up into an upright sitting position. She is so bright eyed and pays attention to everything going on around her. She does not want to miss anything! She is also grabbing her toys and actually likes to play with them! She is getting to be so fun!

I promise to blog more often, especially since I can post pictures of Lilly now!
