Catching up...

Here are Lilly's 9 month pictures taken by Grandma Julie! They are all so good, it was hard to pick which ones to order! We have been busy, busy, and not so busy! I guess I feel as if I am busy all the time cause we have an incredibly energetic almost 10 month old!! Lilly is constantly on the go! Crawling and trying to stand up everywhere.

We are leaving for Isle of Palms, SC on Friday evening...Wish us luck as we travel 12hours with a baby! We chose to drive through the night in hopes that she will sleep the whole time. Can't wait to show her the beach for the first time!

Where did June go?

I can't believe it is already the end of June. So much has happened!


Lilly got her first tooth...and is working on some more.

I quit Kohl's, so I am now a stay at home mommy for the summer!

Lilly loves being in the pool and we are going to teach her to swim as soon as possible. She is our little waterbug!!

We have been going on many walks, going to the pool, and doing lots of swimming!

Lilly can army crawl/normal crawl and is in to everything!!! Her favorite things to get are Tucker's toys & bones, cords, magazines, and basically anything that isn't her own toys!

I got my very first speeding ticket :-( My mom, Lilly, and I were on our way to Ohio to visit my Uncle. We were just talking and I was paying no attention to how fast I was going...

I lost our check book about a week ago, so I am working very hard to find it!

We are excited to go on vacation to Isle of Palms, SC at the end of July!

I have been incredibly busy this week. When I first started at Kohl's, they said I was not guarenteed very many hours a week...well they lied!! They scheduled me for 37.5 hours in my first week!!! It sucks...... I am going to finish working this week (ALL day Friday & Saturday) and then my schedule will start looking much better. I changed my availability so I will only be working a few days a week...no more than 20 hours. I have not had a job standing on my feet all day for I don't even know how long...all I can say is this summer can not go fast enough...I want my Market Day back!!!

Miss Lil is doing just great. She is so funny...she makes the funniest faces. Right now her thing is to open her eyes really wide, shape her mouth like an o, and say ooooooo. It is soooo cute and makes us laugh every time! She also laughs at everything! Her favorite thing to laugh at is someone else laughing.

I am excited for tomorrow night. Kyle is taking me out to dinner for my birthday (which is the 7th). It is a surprise, all I told him was that I wanted to go to a yummy Thai restaurant. I love Thai food and haven't had it since our favorite place, The Thai House, closed a few months ago. Well...off to read my book and relax in a nice bath!

Busy!

Well we have been very busy lately. Lets see...last Friday we had a fun taco night at Cassie & Matt's house, YUM margaritas!! I can finally drink them now :-) On Saturday, I was gone all day helping my mom at a wedding. She is a photographer and is busy taking lots of wedding pictures now. On Sunday, Kyle went golfing with my dad and grandpa and I went up to Logansport to hang out with my mom, uncle, aunt Martina, and Nicole, Olivia, & Logan. Lilly loves playing with the kids! Monday was finally our day to relax!

Market Day is ending soon for the summer :-( and will start back up again in September. I am bummed because I had to go and look for a summer job! I did get a job at Kohl's, so I will be working there a few days a week. I love working for Market Day and I really don't want to work anywhere else! Oh well...

Lilly is doing great! She is still rolling everywhere and she can now get up on hands & knees and rocks back and forth. She also can crawl (or scoot I guess) backwards. It is pretty funny watching her! She is a very active baby. She is already in to everything! I love love love my baby Lilly!!!!

Lilly is rolling all around the living room and watching Elmo on Sesame Street. Tucker is laying in the sun. I am watching my favorite person in the whole entire world (Lilly) and eating a yummy Everything bagel and drinking coffee. Have you ever tried putting butter & salt on your bagel? I had never heard of it until Kyle told me he has been doing it since he was a kid. It is so yummy and especially delicious on everything bagels!

So Lilly's main mode of transportation now is rolling. She will seriously roll from room to room. And she looks so very proud of herself!! Her favorite thing to roll to it the wires by the TV (I know...so bad, right?? We have to BABYPROOF the house!!!!) and she loves getting into all of the magazines under the coffeetable. She doesn't so much like to sit still and play anymore, she is much more happy exploring the house!!

Enjoy the pictures! I can't believe how big Lilly is getting. I held a newborn baby (2 weeks old) yesterday and she was teeny tiny...so teeny tiny that I can't remember Lilly being so little and fragile. Time flies...8 months old in about two weeks! WOW.

7 months old!

So tonight we had free KFC grilled chicken dinners and free fruiteas from Arby's!!! Gotta love free food! I have been going to www.moneysavingmom.com (thanks Brittany for having this link on your blog) and finding a lot of great deals. I am trying really hard to be a money saving mom! We spend so much money every month eating out and buying things we really don't need. This website is awesome though!

Lil is 7 months old and soooo close to crawling. She usually gives up and just rolls everywhere. If she wants something, she just rolls right to it! Lilly was baptized on Saturday and was such a good girl! We had a reception at our house afterwards, and everyone loved spending time with Lilly. Lilly is truly the best little baby. She never cries unless she is starving. She is always so happy and smiling all the time. We are so blessed to have such an amazing baby. Everyone tells me our second child will be the complete opposite!!

Lilly has also been on formula for about 1 week straight now. I have been alternating between breastmilk and formula for about 3 weeks, and just recently decided it was time for the switch. I loved breastfeeding and everything that went with it, but I was just tired. It actually takes a lot of work especially since I was mainly pumping all day so that she could drink from a bottle (her preference).
